Senor and his beloved dog, Suzy

Suzy is gone!

We never expected that.

We were kind of expecting Sandy, the Australian Shepard to go soon since she was getting thinner and well old. We had just taken her to the vet to check her out and they said she had stomach virus and gave her some medicine.

Then we noticed that Suzy was not herself. She was weak. She barely could walk and eat. She turned 9 on Saturday, May 14 and she was gone on Monday morning.

We were so surprised and heart-broken. I still am and I cannnnot believe how much I miss her. (There are tears rolling down my cheeks.)

By Monday she couldn't get up and we had to heave her over to the wagon to our van and into the van. The vet just looked in her eyes, her teeth and asked few questions and took a blood test. Came with an answer that Suzy's kidney was failing.

So Isaac told the vet to give him some time with Suzy and she was put to sleep.
