Playing with electric razor!

I'd have never known that our kids have been playing with our housemate's electric razor that's always sitting on the bathroom countertop if I didn't notice a small piles of blonde hair on the floor.

I immediately went and found Annabelle. I was soo relieved it wasn't worse than I had envisioned. Whewww! I laughed and then I realized I have to be serious and scold them the hazard of playing with adult "toys".

I had to show her what she did to herself by facing her in front of the mirror. She was horrified when she saw it. I asked her to hold her cut hairs.

Annabelle holding her cut hairs.

She wanted her headband on and see. Not so bad! (By the way that vintage headband is no more, boo hooing)

Her piles of hairs. It's a LOT! But where did it come from? Gee!

A few days later, a thought occurred to me, that small hair cut that Annabelle made, is it curling up? I checked and sigh, it's straight. So now I know, if I cut her hair, she'd lose her end curls.

So I'm not going to cut her long hair. It has not been cut ever except at the front to keep her eyes clear while she was a wee baby.

Beach in October! Again but...

We went to the beach again today but golly gee what a huge difference. Today was windy and cold and down to temperature of 63. So the beach was practically empty except few brave souls with their dogs. We were one of them. Last Sunday, there were lot of people sunbathing and swimming in the ocean. Wow! Unbelievable, in just 1 week!

Jonah already has his sunglasses on! Kola barking "Let's go!"

Sandy and Logan already in and ready to go.

My family ahead of me walking toward the beach.

Everyone is accounted for including the 3 dogs.

Me with my wee kids!

Waiting for us.

Jonah and Logan with Annabelle up ahead.
See how empty the beach looked?

Jonah with Logan, Annabelle with Kola
All walking together.

I love this picture. Annabelle and Kola laughing together at something.

Looking so happy!

Annabelle trying to keep up with her papa ahead.

Annabelle and Jonah

Our shadows!

Annabelle and Jonah walking together and holding hands. Aww sweet!

My family!

My senor and Logan

Another great picture! Look at them walking together side by side and laughing together.

Annabelle's pulling Jonah ahead.

Papa with his wee kids.

With their sunglasses.

Without their sunglasses.

End of our walk.

Same new Jackets!

I had bought the jackets at a discounted price from Target long time ago. Finally they're big enough to wear the new jackets. Still too big but I think it looks good on them.

It's finally cold outside that we have to wear our jackets and we're going to the beach.

Trying on the new jackets! Grandmama Lola laughing at the kids' delights having the same new jackets and trying them on. Jonah went to his papa hoping he'd help him zip up his jacket.

Smiling!

Jonah's not sure if he like the hood on.

Annabelle's happy with her new jacket.

Now we're ready to go to the beach.

Big Feet, Small Feet?

Today, Regina came over (she comes on Tuesdays) from FSDB to be with our kids. To play, to teach, to socialize, to talk, to pretty much everything with our kids.

So today was tracing our feet and hands.

Jonah's blue and Annabelle's pink. Hers are hard to see but if you enlarge the picture, you'd be able to see it.

Jonah is clearly bigger than Annabelle! Yikes!
Don't believe me? Next picture is proof! :0)

His feet, her feet! Big feet, small feet!

Jonah and Annabelle!

Jonah had just become 2 last month while Annabelle is 3 and half years old.

I'm still struggling with this! My boy is getting BIG!
No, No, noooooo!
Be my little boy still please for a bit while longer.

Beach in October!

We went to the beach today and we had a marvelous time. Weather was perfect! Laila, our housemate from Latvia went with us.

I was the photographer the entire time so there's no picture of me except one, my feet. Giggling!

The ride to the beach. Kola is all excited about going out and sat on Annabelle's lap.

Jonah walking on the pathway toward the beach.

Jonah with Logan, the Scottie dog that we are caring for Jasmine.

Annabelle with Sandy.

Laila testing the water. It's warm!

Annabelle

My senor!

Annabelle up ahead with Kola. Jonah with Logan. Sandy's last.

My family.

Jonah pointing at Logan. Logan keep on heading for land while Jonah want to stay in the water. So it's a tug - o - war between them. Often, I'd have to go and get Logan because Jonah let go of the leash. Logan is a very good dog. He doesn't run away. He's with us all the way.

Annabelle with 2 dogs.

Both kids with all 3 dogs. We left Suzi, the german shepard home.

Enjoying the long walk.

Annabelle skipping on ahead with Jonah close behind.

Jonah kept his sunglass on the entire time!

Annabelle had her sunglasses as her headband the entire time. At one point she was upset cuz her sunglasses were in the water. I quickly retrieved it for her. Whew! I'm glad the ocean hadn't swallowed up the sunglasses.

Jonah kept Logan with him. He didn't want the other dogs. He wanted Logan!
Jonah keep failing miserably to keep Logan on the water side. Jonah would tug and tug and often lose the leash cuz he doesn't want to go that way. So I'm always behind Jonah ready to rescue Logan for Jonah. Both Logan and Jonah are determined where they want to be. LOL!

Papa to the rescue. Giving leash back to Jonah.

All in the pictures! What a feat!

Posing. Look at Jonah--copying his papa. Cute!

Closer!

Struggling!

Annabelle is having fun!

Jonah is starting to get frustrated with losing the leash.

My foot, Annabelle's feet, my senor's feet and Jonah's foot.
My senor use his sandal the entire walk while rest of us went barefoot. Even the dogs went barefoot. Giggling!

Jonah's in the water!
Lost the leash again!

Papa is holding his son's hand. And he took off Jonah's shirt.

I love this picture. The shadow of them. Annabelle's dress is half wet. Kola is panting and close with Annabelle.

Papa and Jonah far behind. Jonah is starting to get tired and lagging behind.

Annabelle with her sunglasses on. Another great picture.

My senor taking over the 2 dogs while I'm carrying Jonah all the way back to the van. Laila up ahead with Kola.

We had fun! Jonah was fast asleep as soon as I changed him and seated him in his car seat.
