Treasure Coast Pirate Fest

Last weekend, we drove 4 hours south to the town of Stuart. They were having a Treasure Coast Pirate Fest and we wanted to go. It was well worth our time and fun. We also got to visit my cousin, Tamara who lives in the same town.

We had just arrived and had lunch before entering the festival. Isaac and his mama Lola.

These are the people who went dressed up. A pirate family of 3. They sure had Pirate spirit!

More pirate fellows.

All of us walking and taking in the sights and fun. It was hot outside and we later had ice cream. There was music and lot of vendors.

Annabelle

Jonah

Me and my dear Senor

A young pirate girl with her parrot on her shoulder. It's not a fake, it's alive.

Annabelle saying "NO" to putting her face to the hole so I can take pictures.

Their papa to the rescue and encouraged our kids to put their face for me. Isaac had to hold Jonah up. Cute!

Lovely wench putting pirate hat on Jonah. Annabelle refused the hat.

A really tall Pirate walking ahead of us.

He happily posed for us.

A pirate ship for us to climb on and play or to pose pictures with ship as back ground. My senor by himself.

Me and my wee kids with the pirate ship.

They even dressed up their dog!

Our wee kids with their papa.

Us, a family.

The day after the pirate festival, we visited my cousin Tamara. So this is my cousin Tamara and her husband Curtis. Tamara's dad and my dad are brother. Tamara's dad Marvin is the eldest of 11 children. My dad, Erwin is the youngest boy and number 10. We had a lovely visit.

Mama Lola with my cousin Tamara's 17 years old poodle dog. That dog has had her toes nail polished. She had earrings and a bow on top. Mama Lola fell in love with her and felt a kindship with her because both are old. Isn't it sweet?
